Going in circles
So the firat post back was that and this is teh second one.
Much has changed actually. LOL
I'm happier and setteled with where I am in life
I'll give thanks for the gift of life and knowledge as without them i would not know hwta I have and the value
And of course the value of what i have is so much underestimated as only if i were to lose it would i know the full value of it all
Heaven forbid!
I read the other time about how so unhappy most of us are due to teh fact that we are so concerned with what we don't have and end up not enjoying what we actually have
And sometimes the stories are actually sadder than just that fact
people lose what they had which they had overlooked whilst trying to get what they don't have
and then they spend the next cycle in life complaining about what they had and what they'll now probably never have
contentment
That's a word
It is difficult to be contenet with what we have when we beleibve we can actually get more than what we have. "It is easier to renounce worldly possessions than it is to renounce the love of them." — Walter Hilton
"There can be no doubt that possessive clinging to things is one of the most harmful habits in the Christian life. Because it is so natural, it is rarely recognized for the evil that it is. But its outworkings are tragic." — A. W. Tozer
