Death isn't one of those things we dwell on or like to think about . Especially of ourselves.
Quite natural I suppose as we all have this drive to survive no matter what.
On Monday I did think about it as I mused if I was having a mild heart attack. The pain in my left shoulder was intense but was not in my heart. I was given a tablet for the pain which somehow was spreading to my left arm. I was shivering not from cold or pain. It was all happening all so fast. Then I just slept. When I awoke it took some time for me to realise where I was and why. the pain was still there but now less. I even laughed at myself. Why had I panicked?
How could I just leave this earth without having done so much for the God I love and what account was I going to give? How could I just leave without saying goodbye to those dear to my heart? It just didn't fit what I thought I'd feel on my last day.
I guess bottom line is that we are seldom prepared for death when we are healthy and joyous. Only when we feel there is a life threatening situation do we ask ourselves that question- where will I go? Heaven or hell, what will judgement be like?
Whatever our state of mind or health it's one question we need to ensure we know 80% of the answer and like that answer. If we don't like the answer then it's time we started doing something about it.

One more time. Just one more. Please try.
Try, try, try, try again.
If at first you don’t succeed, try again.
Till you make the good better and the better best.
If at first you don’t succeed, try again.
Till you make the good better and the better best.
That’s a rhyme I remember from my youth and just applied with the last post. I thought I’d lost my originality as I had not saved what I’d typed posting when I somehow lost network. There was no backup copy, It had not been rehearsed or read by anyone, it was just straight from my head onto paper and LOST.
That sometimes happens with life and we decide all’s lost and don’t try even once. Well, next time you think all is lost just try once more and you never know, what you thought was lost will suddenly be recovered.
This applies in all spheres of life –YES!
Just try it.
PS –I first put this on Word then pasted as I KNOW from experience how my network fluctuates. Just in case. I always try again.
Ready? Set? GO!
Fresh start, fresh new year!
You know how it feels to write on a fresh new page especially in an exam? Let alone writing in a new book. Well, that's what I wish all of you will be able to do this year.
BUT......
how do you get a fresh start with the same old people, stuff and same old places ?
Simple!
Just decide you are starting anew and from now the beginnning is.
Now is the beginning you've been waiting for. No one will come and decalrae Begin! YOU have to make the decision that NOW IS THE BEGINNING.
BEGIN!

LA-apse
Who would think that I am what I term myself a scribe. I guess a lot got somewhere in the heavenly year 2k7 and I sort of lost focus. Nway, m back and will be scribbling my thoughts a bit then a lot or vice versa;-)
For a start, this is for the new year 2gr8.......(read too great!)
It's meant to be the beginning of new things and new life - yep, every seven years there's something about all your cells being new(the replaceable ones-skin?)...
The number 7 is associated with completeness (Biblical).........uum?
Yes! So....... since 2k7 finished, ended, completed it's cycle, it's gone,
NEW things begin in 2k8
So here's to a gr8 2k8 a year that's deemed to be 2gr8
