Ambition-Desire-Aspiration
“I have no ambition” I remember saying this out loud some other day
What had happened ?
I really don’t know
So what?
Did I mean it?
I think so. I’m not that loose with my mouth .ha! ha!
Though I cannot remember what had happened I do know it was something to do with work.
I can’t complain about my job. I gave up long ago hoping to be a bit shot in the company
I guess you could say I’m myopic when it comes to qualifications and careers
I don’t believe one needs a degree to be a manager
I’m sticking to my guns on that
I actually decided not to get a degree just to prove my point and guess what
I proved it!
I’ve got a job with degree and masters’ holders as my peers
How? God’s grace
I know I’m bright but I also know I can be stupid and irrational at times
So what?
They’re all like me at times (some are like that most of the time)
What’s my point?
I have no ambition in the workplace as I have no desire to lick someone’s but to go up the corporate ladder
I will also not play second fiddle to someone who holds more certificates than I do from overseas universities and colleges
No!
I refuse
I will humbly show them that what I learnt in high school and the world is enough to teach them how they can better handle their jobs and not keep on asking me things they ought to know
So in the work place I respect authority but I will not go an extra mile to seek recognition in case that person will determine what mu next job will be
I will not. I just pray that God steers me in the right direction and I do His bidding
Actually I’m tired of working and need to come up with a business plan in the next month and be done with all this stuff
